    The Role
    DB Schenker is seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor to join our growing logistics team in Enfield. Reporting to the Operations Manager, this position is responsible for overseeing the logistics functions and team, with a specific focus on managing a demanding 3PL environment.

    Key Focus Areas:

    • Direct, monitor, and manage the activities of logistics staff in the multi-client team
    • Develop and implement activities to support new and existing products and services
    • Monitor projects, assess potential problem areas, and coordinate solutions
    • Ensure company WHS policies and procedures are implemented and maintained
    • Introduce and maintain day-to-day operations standards and communication with team leaders
    • Host toolbox talks, monthly communication, and quarterly information sessions
    • Provide advice and guidance on all aspects of inventory control, particularly in a high SKU environment
    • Utilise advanced Excel skills to analyse data and optimize operational efficiency

    Skills and Experience Required:

    • 3+ years of experience in the logistics industry, with a focus on 3PL management for multi-national customers
    • 3+ years of experience in managing teams, multi-task, problem-solve, and make decisions
    • Proven experience in handling spare parts logistics, with the ability to manage large volumes of SKUs (20,000+)
    • Proficiency in logistics processes, inventory management, and computer skills, including Cello and SAP systems
    • Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical abilities
    • Sound knowledge of OH&S practices
    • Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills
    • Familiarity with Warehouse Management System skills
