Road Brokerage Employee (m/f/d)

Your area of responsibility:

• Communication with customers, forwarders and Schenker branches worldwide.
• Registration of shipments in the STAR EU programme.
• Tracking shipments and proactively dealing with problems and informing the customer.
• Rate agreements with customers, Schenker branches and transport companies.
• Processing of complaints
• Organisation and tracking of special transports with corresponding status reports to the customer
• Preparation of loading orders for special transports.
• Representation of the local area if required.
• Optimisation of processes, capacities and costs.
• Planning international trips with a focus on meeting lead times.
• Individual projects.
• Completion of missing key events.
• Focus on spot market brokerage. This list is not exhaustive - so you can expect a very varied role.

• Completed vocational training as a forwarding and logistics services clerk
• Professional experience desirable
• Good knowledge of MS Office
• Good written and spoken English an German
• Knowledge of French is an advantage
• High degree of flexibility and communication skills
• Strong customer orientation, as well as assertiveness and resilience
• Actively live the service concept and implement it effectively
• Ability to work in a team
