    Logistics Coordinator

    Location: Shannon (Office-based with hybrid options after probation: Tues, Wed, Thurs in office; Mon and Fri from home)

    Hours: 37.5 per week (8:00-16:30 or 9:00-17:30)

    Are you an experienced logistics professional ready to take on a new challenge? We're seeking a Logistics Coordinator to join our dynamic Control Tower operation in Shannon. In this role, you'll deliver comprehensive freight forwarding services while providing top-notch customer service and operational support for our key projects.

    What Will You Be Doing?

    • Shipment Management: Oversee assigned shipments from origin to destination, coordinating with local and global teams to ensure smooth operations.
    • Event Tracking: Manage system event tracking efficiently and ensure any required corrective actions are communicated effectively within the business and to customers.
    • Customer Service Excellence: Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring expectations are not just met but exceeded. Handle inquiries promptly and resolve any issues that arise.
    • Reporting: Maintain and update daily and weekly reports, ensuring all information is accurate and up-to-date.
    • Documentation Accuracy: Process shipment documentation with precision, ensuring all necessary documents are correct and received before overseas deliveries.

    About You:

    • Industry Experience: Previous experience in the Freight Forwarding industry (Road Transport, Airfreight, or Ocean Freight) is essential.
    • Proven Track Record: Demonstrable experience in a similar logistics role, with a solid understanding of freight forwarding processes.
    • Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, with strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
    • Effective Communicator: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of working on your own initiative in a fast-paced environment.
