    Your tasks

    Tasks & Responsibilities ? Plans, implements and supervises company compliance program to ensure compliance with CBP regulations, responds to any deviations of the process and communicates exceptions and resolution suggestions to appropriate management. ? Frequently interact with team, outside customers, and/or functional peer groups at various management levels. Conduct presentations/training of technical information concerning specific compliance topics, specific projects, etc. ? Facilitate entry compliance including file audit and review, adherence to CBP and partner government agency laws and client requirements, release of bonded cargo, timely and accurate payment of duties, post entry activities, and related CBP requests. ? Research, communicate and resolve inquiries regarding regulatory deficiencies working with compliance and/or customs manager and on-going training with local customs team. ? Initiate, monitor and resolve all post entry activity in accordance with client instruction, regulatory requirements and ensure timely submission to CBP and associated tracking through final closure. ? Manage operational reporting / exception reporting to ensure timely and accurate processing, issue resolution and timely submission of all customs activities. ? Perform audit activities in accordance with Schenker,governmental regulatory and client requirements and ensure action plans are developed and implemented. ? Regular review of client profiles/SOPs to ensure properly maintained and centrally located along with client written instructions, CF28s/29s, etc. Active involvement in new customs business implementations ? Manage customs compliance KPI scoring to ensure corporate standards are met. ? Manage Temporary Import Bond closures. ? Manage and or monitor the customs duty accounts and duty statement processes to ensuring compliance, timely ACH authorization of payments, and completion of all record keeping requirements. ? Manage or oversee customer reporting, as required. Deliverables & Achievables ? Deliverable of reports that monitor and review customs compliance KPI scoring to ensure corporate standards are met ? Achievables of maintaining compliance in branch and any government agency.

    Requirements

    · Analysis of situation or data · Exercise judgment of procedures and policies to determine appropriate action · Act as advisor to team as required to meet schedules or resolve problems · Strong classification skills and associated regulatory knowledge required. * * · Licensed customs broker required. * Exceptional interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving and communication skills required.
