Customer Service Clerk ,Air Freight

Your tasks

  • Undertake PO follow up in compliance with Customers' requirements and make response in timely manners.
  • Provide door to door service including clearance and delivery as required.
  • Tracking & tracing for partial and irregular shipments and keep customers informed the status.
  • Be help desk to answer various inquiries from external and internal general customers
  • Handle complaints and claims from customers and to co-ordinate exceptional cases with agents.
  • Implement billing process in accordance with customers' requirements as well as company's rule.
  • Verify the costs from subcontractors and confirm the booking to traffic accountants.
  • Monitor the job performance of the assistant of C/S agents to ensure quality of paper work.
  • Develop assistant of C/S agents in business knowledge and personal competence by coaching and training

Requirements

  • College degree or above degree
  • 1 years of experience in the Logistics/Freight Industry.

- Coordinates for daily work of operation team and monitor operation process.

Position Accountabilities

- Ensure operational excellence by complying with a quality control system based on the company's ISO 9001, ISO 9001, ISO14001, OHSAS18001 standard.

- Work closely with operations and other teams within the project to meet customers' requirement and solve daily operational issue.

- To keep day-to-day correspondence and communicate between customer and oversea offices.

- Timely respond to customer's queries or request on daily operation.

- Arrange booking space and picking up cargo.

- Check on customs clearance documentation, monitor the clearance status Confirm with booking agent for detailed flight information, such as first flight and second lighted and ETA.

- Create shipment in company IT system.

- Be Responsible for preparing documents with the flight.

- Offer pre-alert to overseas offices.

- Issue invoice for local charges and send it to supplier.

- Monitor the status of the flight and communicate with airline for any accident.

- Update customer with shipment status from time to time proactivity.

- Prepare various paper works as required in a timely manner.

- Close the file at the end of month and document filing.

- Communicate with domestic and overseas colleagues and local clients to ensure a smooth air freight shipment handling.

- Issue invoice to overseas and domestic clients within 3 days of flight arrival or departure.

- Book overseas invoices into required IT system timely and accurately.

- Perform any special duties or projects assigned by the management.

Relevant Education Background, Hard Skill, Knowledge and Experience:

- College degree or above major in Logistics, International Trade or relevant.

- Good air freight knowledge and background

- 1-2 years' experience with forwarding company, trading company or relevant business industry.

- CET-4 or above.

- Good command of English both verbal and written.

- Familiar with software usage of Office Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
