Manager SGBS Service Management & Charging (*)

Your tasks

The Schenker Global Business Services (SGBS) unit operates two Shared Service Center (SSC) organizations with 1.600 employees located in Bucharest, Romania and Manila, Philippines. It is our ambition to build a true Center of Excellence and best-in-class Shared Services organization contribution to the success of DB Schenker.
You will be responsible for following tasks:
  • Define, implement and continuously develop a consistent Service Management framework (e.g. Service Catalogue, Service Level Agreements, uniform service contracts)
  • Identify opportunities for the expansion of the service scope and drive related initiatives in close cooperation with the relevant functions and stakeholders (e.g SGBS Controlling,
  • SSC Management, SGBS Account Management and SGBS customers)
  • Ensure contractual compliance with regard to data protection and national requirements in
  • close collaboration with Legal.
  • Develop, introduce and maintain consistent pricing and charging model for SGBS across
  • Service Centers
  • Concluding Service Level Agreements with SGBS customers as their main contractual
  • counterpart and act as escalation level for all SGBS customers ("mediator" role) in case of commercial, contractual and service issues
  • Closely collaborating with the Account Management, Controlling and Performance Man-
  • agement function with regards to information needs of the SGBS customers
  • Refine cost allocation/transfer pricing model for SGBS in close alignment with existing
  • SSC, internal customers, tax department and other involved functions and business units
  • Set-up and run monthly charging for services in alignment with customers, SSC's and in- volved departments
  • Coordinate with the remote Contracting team responsible for the delivery of tasks re-
  • lated to service contracts and charging

Requirements

  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree in business administration, law or equivalent required
  • Multiple years of experience related to the service management and charging models in a global, multi-functional Shared Services environment (preferably Logistics, Finance & Ac- counting, HR)
  • Profound Controlling knowledge with focus on process costing, cost drivers and cost allocation
  • Strong expertise of negotiating and collaborating with internal customers and creative problem solver with a demonstrated ability to communicate specific barriers to the contracting process with recommended solutions
  • Excellent analytical and presentation skills and ability to convert complex information into impactful messages/insights for top management
  • Organization and time management skills; multi-tasking and prioritizing (based on impact), structured and planning work activities efficiently to meet deadlines and high level goals
  • Very high level of intercultural competency & sensitivity
  • Very strong communication and mediation skills
  • Strong service culture, customer- and solution-oriented mindset
  • High level of commitment, self-motivation and resilience, ability to deliver when working in virtual teams and a complex environment involving multiple stakeholders
  • Fluent in English (German and other languages are a plus), willingness to travel internationally
