Customer Services Representative - Land Transport

Your tasks

This position is to assist the manager to ensure smooth and efficient operations of assigned customer account in all the logistics processes, in handling customer order, shipment, information and services along the process of incoming, storing, inventory management, value-added distribution and performance tracking, etc.

1. Process import and export declarations including preparation of necessary documentation. Liaise with customs to rectify and issues
2. Ensure that all customer order is fulfilled daily and respond shipment enquiries to customer on a timely manner
3. Communicate effectively with other departments to monitor transportation issues and escalate problems as per the escalation procedure
4. Track and trace shipments where necessary, i.e. critical orders, delayed orders etc. and communicate progress internally and to customer
5.Preparation of monthly performance reports to the assigned customers as required
6. Receive and action special requirements or instructions from the Customer and produce.
7. Coordinate and schedule in-country transport movements – collections and deliveries, and communicate to warehouse supervisor
8. Raise personal training needs with Supervisor to support other activities
9. Perform any special duties / projects as assigned by the management

Requirements

1. Fluent of spoken and written English and Chinese
2. Computer Literate in Word and Excel
3. College or above
4. Minimum 2 years related working experience in air freight forwarding / shipping / logistics field
