Business Analyst - AP Automation (*)

Your tasks

Global Accounting is looking for an experienced individual for the Global rollout of a new Accounts Payable automation application. The role will consist of tasks related to the application roll-out and supplier collaboration in order to drive the digital transformation of Schenker's accounts payable environment, Moreover the role would also include the activities related to the ongoing optimization and standardization of current accounting processes.
Tasks & Responsibilities
Business Analyst:
  • Coordination / Support of AP Automation Project Activities
  • Detailed analysis of the requirements of our Business Units (Land, Air, Ocean, CL/SCM)
  • Evaluation and continuous improvement / optimizing of the Accounts Payable application. Liaising with IT on enhancements.
  • Developing of the Global core template design and keeping track of all the updates and changes
  • Monitoring and Tracking the implementation of requirements
Supplier Management:
  • Support the digital transformation in accompanying our suppliers to move from paper invoices to digital invoicing
  • Define the onboarding strategy together with Business Units and AP tool provider
  • Actively support the countries in the local onboarding activities
  • Collaboration with country's and shared service center AP departments in order to improve supplier relationship
  • Drive productivity in invoice processing with KPI definition and reporting

Requirements

Requirements:
  • University degree in Business Administration ( Accounting & Finance, Economics, Business Informatics, Logistics etc.)
  • First work experience in Accounts Payable and Accounting & Finance transformational projects
  • Operational procurement / supplier management relationship experience with truckers, shipping lines etc.
  • Team player with very high communicative competence
  • Confident handling of the standard software MS-Office, as well as first experiences with SAP FI
  • Fluent business English and German
  • Independent, structured, goal- and result-oriented way of acting, good analytical and conceptual skills as well as attention to detail
  • Distinct ability for solution-oriented problem identification and analysis
  • High level of coordination skills, teamwork and flexibility as well as a confident and communicative appearance
