Business Analyst L2 - WMS

Job Locations: Gurgaon/Pune/ Hyderbad

Position Description Summary:
Responsible for design, implementation and support of various WMS systems. This includes, but is not limited to: coordinating with internal and external IT teams; interacting with software providers and providing input on application enhancements; managing client configurations; offering internal and external customer support; and troubleshooting potential application issues.

Principal Accountabilities (The following is intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed. It is not an exhaustive list of all expectations.):

Play multiple roles across projects or within assigned project. These roles include:

- Requirements gathering

- Solution design

- Project management support

- Application configuration

- Test script development

- Test script execution

- Classroom training delivery

- Go-Live support

- Application support

- Documentation.

Working Environment:

Assignment Complexity - Work on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. Exercise judgment within generally defined practices and policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.

Accountability - Use professional concepts and corporate policies and procedures to solve a wide range of difficult problems in imaginative and practical ways.

Impact of Decisions - Moderate impact on corporate operations and fiscal health.

Working Relationships - Regularly interact with multiple layers of management for both information collection as well as delivery

Scope - Work on problems diverse in scope. Normally receive no instructions on routine work, general instructions on new assignments.

Essential Functions:

Must be able to pass any federal/state/local government, airport, or company-required background checks, clearances, and/or drug and alcohol tests.

Knowledge and Skills (The following minimum requirements are normal guidelines and should not constrain the advancement of otherwise qualified personnel):

- 5+ years experience supporting WMS implementations through the project life cycle

- Minimum 3, prefer 5+ years experience in integration of EDI and ERP into various WMS platforms (including Exceed, 3.x, Tecsys, Red Prairie)

- 5+ years experience with PL/SQL & MS SQL

- Excellent structured problem solving & logical thinking skills

- Articulate communication in both spoken and written form

- Proven ability to interact with client and internal resources representing Operations, IT, and Business teams

- Self-starter comfortable working as part of a team or alone

- Proven ability to meet or exceed project deadlines

- Demonstrated hands-on Supply Chain Execution systems implementation background required

- Small team leadership experience preferred

- Project / Sub-project Planning experience preferred

B.S. in related field/B.tech/M.tech/BCA/MCA
