    Your tasks

    General Responsibilities:

    Leadership & Coordination

    • Establish an effective and active Land Business Intelligence & Analytics community (virtual SPOC team) to ensure:
    • Promotion of professional standards within the BI community, and opportunities for learning & development
    • Internal alignment and community support, including flexible coverage for colleagues on leave
    • Exchange / sharing of best practices
    • Act as an internal point of contact and subject matter expert for Cross-functional Data & Reporting initiatives (e.g., OneBI, MDM, etc.)

      Reporting

    • Evaluate Land Data & Reporting needs, identify & present recommendations to management and develop a comprehensive Reporting Roadmap, working with PDI and IT teams
    • Develop & maintain a management-level overview of Land Reporting standards, including a catalogue of standard reports/KPIs (across all clusters and future TMS landscape)
    • Drive design and development for new reports
    • Oversee the offshoring of report creation where appropriate, and act as the main point of contact (SPOC) for SGBS in relation to Land reporting requirements

     Data Strategy

    • Conduct an assessment of existing Land Data capabilities in co-operation with IT and PDI, and present data strategy recommendations (draft Roadmap) to management in relation to:
    • Data Architecture (MDM, CTTS, SBI, Power BI, etc.)
    • Reporting Standards
    • Customer Visibility
    • Data Quality
    • Skills and Training
    • Project manage design and implementation of agreed Data & Reporting Roadmap projects
    • Identify data analytics possibilities, incl. Forecasting & AI models (e.g., Volumes projections and/or revenue & volume correlations)

    Requirements

    Qualifications and Experience:

    • Minimum 3-5 years' experience in an Analyst or Business Intelligence role
    • Familiarity with current Schenker Land reporting, data & systems
    • Excellent understanding of function specific Land Transport business (e.g., Land Sales, terminal, etc.) and competence to translate to BI applications
    • Fluent in English (spoken and written)
    • Knowledge of data structures and analytic techniques
    • High attention to detail, and track record of innovation
    • Team player, with strong communication skills and the ability to translate technical topics for a non-technical audience
